DAY 3 WOODWARD!
Our morning began at 7 again! We all met for breakfast in the dining center and then headed off to the tumble gym for OPTIONAL conditioning- which all the kids attended!! The conditioning went until 9 and then Rachel, Chase and John met Tom in the Pit Gym for some extra tumbling work. They worked on fulls, whip fulls, and double backs. Tom is so great with the kids and LOVES working with them. Katey and Caitlyn spent their morning in the Open Gym to work on some trampoline. After we all finished our morning work outs we headed down to the Ropes Course where we signed up to do it Friday morning! We are all quite excited to challenge our balancing and agility (especially Rachel). We then headed to the Grill for lunch. We all had a hamburger and chips. The kids then went swimming while I try and catch up with blogging!
After lunch the kids had class again. We did trampoline, rod floor, tumble track, and spring floor. The kids are doing so well, I am proud of each of them. After class the kids and I ate dinner at the Chicken Grill again, and then we headed back to the gym AGAIN!! They are unstoppable!! We are now all sitting at the canteen taking a little ice cream break. (And I have Internet again!) We plan to go back to the gym for another hour to do a little more open workout.
** So this is the morning activities, hopefully I will be able to get on later too and update the rest of the day after their class and open workout!!**
Oh man, EVERYONE is doing doubles! Nice! It looks like you guys all just need to jump harder. Right now you're going onto very soft mats so if you mess up you'll be fine, but eventually you're going onto a much firmer mat (that hurts when you mess up, trust me). Do everything as hard as you can, cuz your neck will like it more if you overdo a double than if you underdo it :)
